By collaborating with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and translating their knowledge into accessible content, this project bridged the gap between technical, corporate, and operational teams. The playbook currently serves as reference guide for all site managers.

Objectives 

The Site Manager Playbook was developed to:

• Standardize and formally document workflows and procedures across Powin’s global projects, ensuring consistent and high-quality site management practices.

• Equip site managers with clear guidance on their roles and responsibilities during each phase of the installation and commissioning process.

• Enhance communication and coordination between site managers, corporate project managers, and engineering teams.

Audience 

This playbook was designed for Powin’s site managers, who oversee the installation and commissioning phases of battery energy storage system (BESS technology) projects. Many site managers operate in field-based roles with varying levels of familiarity with corporate procedures, necessitating a guide that is clear and aligned with real-world scenarios.
